He ate a big meal

When he heard the good news

He was not alone

There was someone to choose

Suddenly he was happy

Such a happy young man

He decided to act out

To accept God's own plan

He started new habits

He built a new bridge

He bought a new home

Drove his fears off a ridge

They found him proposing

With a ring in his hand

The time to go on had come

It was time to take a stand

They whisked him away

To his own honeymoon suite.

They all made quite sure

That he had plenty to eat

They laughed and they cried

But could not understand

How a man of his stature

Could have no ring on his hand?
