Iraqi Sunnis hold up a poster advertising a purported reward of U.S. $15 million for the heads of U.S. Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld, right, coalition forces commander Lieutenant-General Ricardo Sanchez, center, or military spokesman Brigadier-General Mark Kimmitt in Fallujah, Iraq. (original)
July 4, 2003, I wrote a commentary on the bounty of $25M that my government offered for Saddam Hussein.
First, they illegally invaded his country.
Then they offerred a fat wad of cash for him, dead or alive.
They eventually found him, but not [yet?] his alleged Weapons of Mass Destruction.
Today, April 28, 2004, the Iraqis have recapitulated the offer.
Now the shoe is on the other foot.
I'm only surprised that it took the Iraqis so long.
Hell, why risk your life trying to kill someone when you can just pay someone else to do your dirty work for you?
Offering money for someone's death is just as wrong when our enemy does it, as it is when we do it. How pitiful the world has become.
